Education Purposes and Advantages of the Program

The graphic design program purposes to train self-confident designers who are technically and aesthetically trained, who can analyze their environment and epoch, have research and creative potential to solve visual communication problems, and are equipped with the skills to adapt to the dynamic structure of the communication age. Considering the needs of the country and the society, it is the main objective to design and offer the products (books, magazines, packaging, web site, labels, etc.) that are required by all sectors in line with the criteria required by the design.

The Graphic Design Program purposes for its students to graduate by gaining the following features while graduating;

• To gain skills that students can use in their professional business life.
• To design the products that will be accepted and used by the society, taking into account the social dimension.
• To develop their ethical and moral sensitivities by being aware of their duties and responsibilities towards their country, society and individual.
• Graphic Design, Photography, Video, Communication Design etc. in context to prepare students for a higher level education.
• To increase the effectiveness in the sector by increasing the awareness of students such as printing and publishing technologies and marketing etc. in areas horizontally of Graphic design.
